Triton’s Treasure Slot
Triton’s Treasure – RTG Video Slot Review
King Triton awaits you with treasures in RTG’s newest video slot release… Triton’s Treasure.
Enjoy the undersea adventure playing this 25-line, 5-reel real series video slot that has not only one, but two, progressive random jackpots! Your chance of being awarded either of these two jackpots can begin for as low as a penny per line or up to $5.00 per line.
The wild symbol of the game is King Triton which is found on reels 2, 3, and 4 only and is an expanding wild symbol. This symbol substitutes for all other symbols of the game; with the exception of the scatter symbol; in helping you complete winning combinations.
The scatter symbol is the mermaid. Two scatters appearing anywhere on your screen will award you even money on your triggering bet. Three or more scatters will trigger an initial five free spins with a one time multiplier. You’ll receive one bonus pick for each mermaid that you get. Each pick can be used to add five free spins or to increase your multiplier by two. If three or more mermaids appear during free spin play, you’ll automatically receive five free spins.
There are ten other symbols in the game, each used during regular play. The City of Atlantis is the highest paying of these symbols awarding you 3,333 coins should five appear on a payline. Only the Atlantis symbol and the shipwreck symbol require just two on a payline to be awarded a win. The remaining eight require three on a payline to be a winner.
Beginning with $25, I played this slot at fifty cents per spin, playing all twenty-five lines. In a total of twenty spins, the wild symbol completed four winning combinations for me, the scatter paid me even money on my bet twice and the free spin feature triggered once awarding me $5.80 for my wins.
I increased my bet to seventy-five cents per spin and in a total of thirty-five spins at this value, the wild symbol completed four winning combinations for me, the scatter paid me even money once and the free spin feature did not trigger. Back to even, I increased my bet to $1.00 per spin. Within a total of 66 spins, the wild now completed ten winning combinations for me and the scatter paid me even money on my bet three times. Although the free spin feature did not trigger, I felt lucky for some reason and increased my bet, again, to $2.00 per spin.
At this new value of play, and within a total of 21 spins, the wild completed 6 winning combinations for me, the scatter paid me even money on my bet five times and the free spin feature did trigger awarding me $20 on my win. I ended my play a winner!
I thought this game would be a good paying slot because of the wild symbol being an expandable wild, and it appearing on three reels increasing my chances for a winning combination. Well, it did pay well when the wild appeared… but that’s the “ticket”… to have it appear in a winning combination that is. Not as often as I had hoped really. But, when it did appear it did pay well. I had a $6 win, $16.50, $40.96, & $10 win with the wild’s help.
I enjoy a slot that also has a scatter pay if only two appear and this slot has that plus it has a free spin feature which is always a plus and a chance at a minor and major progressive jackpot as well.
Overall, I would say that patience is a virtue when playing this slot. It’s the kind of slot that you’ll either “feel it or not” and one that I would play only when I “feel it” when I come in with a low budget purse to play as I did today.
