Detailed review:

Similar to Microgaming’s video slot “Sterling Silver”, another precious metal comes your way in the month of October with the release of … Pure Platinum!

With 40 lines to play for as little as a penny per line or as high as five cents per line, you can enjoy playing this five-reel slot at a ten coin max bet per line if you choose to do so.

There are a total of ten symbols that will award you wins when three or more appear on a payline during regular play. Three of the ten symbols are the highest paying of the game and will award you 750 coins if five appear on a payline.

The wild symbol of the game is the logo Pure Platinum symbol and substitutes for all other symbols of the game with the exception of the scatter.

The scatter symbol is a pure platinum disc, and pays you even money on your triggering bet if two appear anywhere on your screen. Get three, four or five scatter and the free spin feature will be triggered … plus, you will be awarded 3x, 20x, or 100x your bet, respectively.

Free spin play on this slot is your choice! You’ll be given the option to choose to play 50 free spins with a 1x multiplier, 25 free spins with a 2x multiplier, or 10 free spins with a 5 x multiplier.

My Play
Beginning with $40, playing all 40 lines at a penny per line and two coins per betline for a total of 80 cents per spin, I was able to complete a total of 135 spins before losing it all. Within those 135 spins, the wild symbol completed a total of 25 winning combinations for me and the scatter paid me even money 24 times. The free spin feature was never triggered during my play.

Overall
Had it not been for the number of times the wild and scatter symbols appeared during my play, I think I would’ve left alot sooner than I had playing this slot. I enjoyed the music and burst of sound that accompanies this slot but nothing more than that really captured my attention. I was quite disappointed in not having triggered the free spin feature as well. But, because the wild and scatter do appear as often as they do, this is a slot that I’ll add to my “play to pass time” list as that’s generally a good indicator; to me anyway; that my low-purse-playtime can be sustained.
