Heavyweight Gold Slot
“Put up ‘yer dukes” and get ready to go for the gold playing Rival software’s newests video i-slot … Heavyweight Gold.
You can play this 20-line, 5-reel, interactive video slot for as little as a penny per line up to ten cents per line with a ten coin max bet per line.
You can play this slot now at any of these Rival Casinos:
There are a total of nine, boxing related, symbols in the game. Three symbols on a payline are needed to be awarded a win with the exception of the boxing champ symbol, in which only two are needed. The boxing champ symbol is also the highest paying symbol of the game during regular play awarding you 1,000 coins if you get five on a payline.
The wild symbol of the game is a pair of boxing gloves. The wild is an expanding wild and is found on reels 1, 2, & 3 only.
The game also has a free spin freature which is triggered when 3, 4, or 5 ring girls appear anywhere on your screen. When the feature is triggered the ring girl walks onto your screen holding a round card noting the number of free spins you’ve won … 10, 20, or 100. Free spins carry with them a three time multipler & the feature can be re-triggered during play.
The interactive feature of the game is the KNOCK OUT Bonus Round. This feature is triggered when 3, 4, or 5 opponents appear anywhere on your screen. Play begins with the announcer naming your opponent. The bell rings, and it’s time to play for your chance to win up to 2,000 coins.
During play, your coach will give you tips from the sidelines. When your opponenet is about to punch, block by clicking the “DEFEND” button on your screen. When he’s moving, click “ATTACK” to keep on punching. Play ends when there is a kockout.
Generally, I’ve found that the largest majority of i-slot play requires a “fair amount of money” to really experience as their variences are usually ranging from medium to high. With that in mind, I began play with $50, playing alll lines at a penny per line and ten coins per line for a spin bet of $2.00.
Within a total of 34 spins, the expanded wild symbol appeared four times to help complete wins for me and the free spin feature was triggered once. During free spin play, I won a total of $22.80. During my regular play, the highest win I was awarded was $2.00. My spins went as follows: 11 spins then awarded 10 free spins, 23 spins then I lost it all and was at zero balance.
Depositing another $50.00, and hoping for better results, I continued play at the same value. This time, within a total of 67 spins, the expanded wild appeared 6 times, the free spin feature was triggered 3 times, and the KNOCK OUT bonus twice. After playing the first KO bonus I was ahead by only $4.00, and after the second KO bonus play I was back to my original purse. During free spin play I won $10.80 on the first play, $19.50 on the second, & $1.80 on the last.
My 67 total spins were as follows: 6 spins then the KO bonus, 21 spins then 10 free spins awarded, 7 spins then the KO bonus, 19 spins then 10 free spins awarded, 8 spins then 10 free spins awarded, 14 spins then at a zero balance.
Prior to the release of this slot, I read some pre-release promos and got excited thinking this was going to be a really unique, very interactive, hold-my-attention slot to play. Then >>> I played it and was not impressed at all … not with the payout scale or the interactive bonus feature. This is not a slot as interactive as I thought it would be really. Not a slot that held my attention and not a slot I would play again. In a total of 101 spins, I lost $100.00. Too high of a variance for my purse!
