IGT (formerly Wagerworks) – are the leading provider of electronic gambling machines for ‘real world’ casinos (for example, they do the machines for Harrah’s), and this is reflected in the software that they produce which includes Vegas favourites Cleopatra, Enchanted Unicorn and Wolf Run.

There aren’t a huge number of casinos that use IGT, but they do have some of the biggest brands as their customers; including Sky Vegas and Virgin Casino. The fact that these two mega-brands have selected IGT says a huge amount for the quality and reliability of the software.

The games are played directly within your browser with no downloadable option and since most people have a broadband connection, this makes much more sense since it frees you to be able to play wherever you have an internet connection.
Games are also available in mobile versions, though as with all software providers the game selection is still pretty minimal compared to the main site. That said there are both downloadable versions (for normal phones) and optimised web games designed for the iPhone and other smartphones to be played through their browser.
