We’ve not reviewed SEGA’s Casino just yet, but we have played on a few of their exclusive “SEGA games”. These are based on some of their popular video games, and at the moment are like other themed slots in that the characters have been used as the symbols in these.
We’re betting this casino will be one to keep an eye on. Playtech, in their press release noting that they had been selected to power SEGA’s casino, also noted that games are in development in conjunction with SEGA’s R&D team. There is a taste of what might be coming – the casino lobby has an unusual 3-D scrolling background and the Virtua FighterTM game also has a scrolling background – SEGA are famous for their arcade games with amazing graphics and gameplay – here’s hoping they can do the same for online casinos!

Voted “Best Online Casino” in the Casinomeister awards every year from 2003 to 2009 probably says it all, so no surprise that 32Red is the benchmark for all online casinos. I’ve been a player here for 4 years and their treatment of players is excellent. They recently improved the signup bonus and the invite-only “Club Rouge” VIP program, which rewards loyal players with a variety of extras each month including a bigger monthly bonus. Unusually, 32Red online casino will also process cashouts to credit cards where the credit card company allows this, a welcome addition to the many other banking options. There are stacks of games & an autoplay and “expert mode” (strategy) function for certain games. One of the few online casinos where loyal players feel valued and where I spend most of my gambling time. A download and flash casino is available and the download version now includes Microgaming’s excellent slot tournaments section.

bwin online casino

bwin is better known for its sports betting, but it also offers an online casino, poker and skill games. The online casino is actually 2 casinos because unusually, bwin casino uses two different software providers for their instant and download products, thus giving you a wider choice for your gameplay. bwin also has a mobile casino enabling you to play games from poker to roulette on the go.
As for the reputation of the company, it is one of the biggest in Europe, sponsoring top flight teams including AC Milan and Real Madrid as well as events such as the MotoGP. bwin publish their payout percentages monthly, are eCOGRA certified and are licensed in the highly regarded jurisdiction of Gibraltar – unfortunately, they do not take US players at present, but for the rest of you, this casino is definitely worth a try.

Although the site is geared towards the English player, you can download the software and register to play in Euros or, if you live in Sweden, you can download a Swedish language version of the casino. Many of you will already be more than familiar with Bet365 who have an excellent reputation in Europe so I can keep this review brief. Their online casino runs on the Playtech platform and has all of the traditional casino games and a whole load more, including plenty of slot games. In my opinion, Bet365 excells particularly in 3 areas: it supports many European languages within the casino software, it processes faster cashouts than just about every other Playtech casino, and it has arguably the best Live Dealer games of any online casino. Highly recommended.

An underrated Microgaming Viper casino that has generally lived in the shadows of it’s peers and is currently offering a $1,000 & 60 minutes free play promotion to all new players with no deposit required. Aside from over 300 games in the download software and a Flash casino option, there are several types of signup bonus and the short reverse time means cashouts are generally processed within 24/36 hours. Additionally, River Nile is one of the few casinos that process cashouts 7 days a week. It gets all the new games as soon as they are released and with slots tournaments added in December 2007, River Nile is a decent casino that is steadily growing in popularity. One thing that used to let it down was the poor loyalty scheme and slow support, but it sounds as if these areas have been attended to and improved.

Run by the famous Virgin Brand using Wagerworks Flash software (along with Paddy Power casino). All the games have the expected payout percentage published in the paytables which is something that I wish other operators did! Video poker options are light but offer some innovative options, such as Phantom Belle video poker in several variants . Loyalty points can be converted into Air-miles on Virgin Atlantic or cash. Licenced and regulated out of Alderney, the casino does not accept US players. Very fast cashouts too and no pending time – good news. Look out for the Monopoly and Cluedo slots along with the excellent Cleopatra slot! Another plus is that ID is only requested for your first cashout over £3,000.
