Review by Oggs.com
Originally a Bingo site, bgo offers a wide range of gambling services, including an extensive range of slots from the likes of IGT, Microgaming and Net Entertainment.
Main Licence:- Alderney
Independent Certifications:- none
bgo’s casino is licenced in Alderney, a well-regarded jurisdiction, responsible for regulating other top name casinos such as Grosvenor Casinos and Paddy Power. Alderney is great because they require the casino to disclose the long term Return to Player percentages for each of their games – a statistic that’s not always available at other casinos.
Main Software:- Net Entertainment
bgo is first and foremost a bingo site. There’s also a variety of other services arranged into tabs at the top of the page.
Online Slots are to be found under the ‘VEGAS’ tab, with a wide range of games from Net Entertainment, IGT and Microgaming. All games are instant play, with no download version available, and there’s also a mobile optimised version of the site. For table games, head to the ‘CASINO’ tab, whilst for live dealers you’ll want the ‘MACAU’ tab.
Bgo also provide virtual sports as well as a mobile version of their services.
Bgo’s banking options are fairly limited. They cover the main payment methods, and most people should have access to at least one of these:- Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Ukash and PayPal.
They claim to process your withdrawal within 72 hours. We’ve not tested to see if they process payments quicker than that, but considering how fast you can get paid out at other casinos, we’re not sure why you’d want to have your money stuck on the casino for that long.
Customer Support Team Availability:- 8:30am to midnight during the week, 10am to 6pm on weekends
Customer support is available at bgo from 8:30am to midnight during the week, and from 10am to 6pm on the weekends. The support team can be contacted via email, live chat or post. There’s also an FAQ section, but it’s not as big as can be found at other casinos.
The VIP/customer loyalty scheme is a pretty standard format. There are tiered levels, with the top layer being by invitation only. Everyone starts as a ‘Blue’ player where you can only earn loyalty points and 5% weekly cashback, but you can work your way up to ‘Platinum’ status where you’ll get 20% weekly cashback, increased playing limits and invitations to special events.
At first glance, bgo is a great casino but there are some limitations. We personally like to phone customer support – somehow it feels good to speak to an actual human being (assuming that they know what they’re doing of course). Also, the 72-hour standard waiting period on payouts is pretty slow – if you’re not in a rush for your cash, then it’s not a big deal, but there are other casinos where you can cash out faster.
That said there’s a really wide range of slots available on the site – if you’re a fan, then bgo might be the casino for you. Combine that with a well put-together website and some decent offers – at the time of writing, all players can get from 5-20% cashback from their play – that’s not to be sniffed at!
