Review by Oggs.com
Formerly known as Victor Chandler - BetVictor, as the name suggests, is first and foremost a bookie. That’s not to say however, that their casino is an afterthought – infact, it’s better put together than some dedicated casino sites. Check out the rest of the review and see for yourself!
Main Licence:- Gibraltar
BetVictor is licenced in Gibraltar, a well-respected gambling jurisdiction that also regulates top industry names such as 32Red and bet365. Good start. Add to that a good dose of independent testing from Gaming Labs International, who certify the payout percentages of the various games.
The random number generators of the casino software are claimed to be certified, but this appears to be undertaken by the software companies rather than something that BetVictor does themselves (e.g. Microgaming and Net Entertainment’s software is certified as fair by eCOGRA) – still, it all counts though!
Main Software:- Multiple Providers
The casino itself is all instant play, which just makes a lot more sense these days. It also means that BetVictor isn’t limited to one particular brand of software – a quick glance at their “Top 20” games list at the time of writing shows games from Microgaming, Net Entertainment and IGT. So, if you’re a slot player, then this casino’s going to be a great choice for you.
Supplementing the video games, Bet Victor has Live Dealers, with Roulette, Blackjack and Baccarat on offer. There’s also a mobile casino available via native apps (depending on your device) and whilst there is a dedicated mobile site, this is for their sports betting service, rather than for casino games. You can also watch live horseracing from your mobile.
BetVictor provides a comprehensive online gambling service. In addition to the casino, and the sports betting that we mentioned earlier in the review that they are best known for, they have a Poker room and a Financial betting section. The only mainstream service that’s missing at the moment that you might expect from a comprehensive provider is a Bingo room.
Payment methods are fairly mainstream here - there isn’t a huge selection of e-wallets, but that doesn’t really matter since the casino is aimed at the UK market, where the payment methods are available to most people. You’ve got the option of a Debit/Credit card, Bank transfer, NETeller, PayPal, Skrill, Western Union, PaySafeCard, Ukash and Webmoney. As usual, NETeller and PayPal offer the quickest processing times noted in the help section as being processed 1-3 days after it’s been approve by the customer service department.
Customer Support Team Availability:- 24/7
The customer service team at BetVictor are available 24/7 either through live chat, email or a series of phone numbers – there are freephone numbers but only for the UK and Ireland.
There’s a full on VIP scheme at BetVictor – not just comp points, but personal account managers, prizes and event hospitality
Although not quite a household name in the same way that Ladbrokes or Paddy Power might be, Victor Chandler’s BetVictor nevertheless has some degree of brand recognition in the UK where they are focused. Even if you don’t recognise the name, the casino offering is excellent, with a wide selection of slot games available from several different software providers.
