You could have taken the words out of my mouth. I think we might be able to improve things if we gave suggestions to the moderators.. so here goes

I am not a frequent user or poster; I find it difficult to get round with so many heads for threads. I should like to see a more compact number of main headings, that open into the component subheads

also find it hard to chose where to post if I have something to say.. Maybe a heading could be set up under Discussions.. members can go there and get into longer discussions on subjects of general interest and appeal.

So here's my bit guys and thanks curtsonlylove for stimulating this discussion.
