4 To Watch

Burkina Faso vs Algeria:

Every football fan likes to see a new name in the quadrennial Jules Rimet, and with 32 sides competing these days, they always get their wish. And we believe hipsters should start ordering their Burkina Faso shirts right now. The Faso as nobody calls them, host Algeria on Saturday, and whilst their squad has few regulars in top European leagues (Jonathan Pitroipa, a pacey playmaker, is now at Rennes after seven years in the Bundesliga with Freiburg and Hamburg, captain Charles Kaboure, was once of Marseille whilst Aristide Bance is on loan at Fortuna Dusseldorf having been successful in Germany previously with Mainz,) coach Paul Put has shot them into WC contention (terrible pun intended.) They are 2.52 with our pals at Betfair to win the home leg, and should take a slender lead to Algeria.

Denmark vs Italy:

The Danes host an Italian side who even at their most interested never muster up too much passion in qualification, yet having already reached Brazil 2014, are unlikely to even work up a sweat in this one. The Danes badly need to win to keep their qualification hopes on track, so we lay Italy heavily in this one at 3.25.

Spain vs Belarus:

Weekend banker for you 1/20 fans out there. Spain haven’t qualified yet. Belarus are without Alex Hleb and got caned 0-4 in the reverse fixture. Home win!

England vs Montengero:

Covered extensively yesterday. But for the love of the deity of your choice, home win. Please Roy. 1.36 at Bet365.
