Unibet buy Betchoice

Unibet announced today that they’ve just bought Betchoice, the Australian bookmaker, for £13.6m.

They intend to re-brand the site to Unibet after a short while, which will align it with their main corporate brand. The move will give Unibet a bridgehead into Australia, and is good news for punters there as Unibet have announced that they plan to “ invest significantly in improving the Australian product portfolio “.

We expect this to mean that they will bring the site into line with their current comprehensive online gaming offering; which includes sportsbetting, online casinos, poker, bingo and more, although specific details of plans have not been released at this time.
