4 to Watch

Guingamp v PSG

19:45

BT Sport 2

It isn’t every day that you can watch a £200m footballer make his debut, although pretty soon it will be. If he does start, expect a bumper global audience, certainly the biggest ever for a French fixture, largely justifying the Qatari splurge that has caused all this. Last weekend, they dealt with Amiens pretty easily – a 2-0 score could have been far more. Guingamp were 3-1 winners at Metz last weekend. Encouraged by a sell-out crowd at Stade du Roudourou, they’ll take the game to PSG rather than sitting back and playing for a draw. This could be a big mistake, and we back the Overs 3.5 goals at 2.34 with Betfair.

Newcastle United vs Tottenham Hotspur

Sky Sports Premier League

Two managers who won’t be spritzing £200m on a footballer any time soon, and no doubt their faces will tell that very story. It’s a tough life being a Premier League manager. We think the Toon may struggle early on, possibly even deliberately as Rafa tries to send a message upstairs. 2-0 Spurs is 7/1 with Ladbrokes.

Manchester United vs West Ham United

16:00

Sky Sports Premier League

This won’t be the last, but it will be the first, slightly tedious 2-0 home victory for United this season. Ladbrokes will give you 11/2, which they probably won’t make the mistake of doing again.

Barcelona vs Real Madrid

21:00

Sky Sports Football

Real looked in fine fettle against United earlier this week, whilst Barca are surely still reeling from Neymar’s absence. Take the 3.5 on an away win with the Betfair Sportsbook.
