4 to Watch
It may be Superbowl Weekend in the United States of America, but we all know that the ‘greatest show on earth’, is right here on our doorstep. CARDIFF CITY vs NORWICH CITY! They’re even both called City – what more do you want man? Bruno Mars? Well we love you Premier League, just the way you are. Ahem
Newcastle United vs Sunderland
A crazy, crazy finish to the last game saw Fabio Borini emerge as an unlikely derby hero. And after another triumphant transfer window from Joe Kinnear, which saw their star player leave, Newcastle morale may be low. We have a sneaky suspicion for the Black Cats once more – Ladbrokes offer 10/3 and that is a price we will take.
Cardiff City vs Norwich City
Or what happens when a man who wants to see the goalkeeper score more, appoints a manager. Norwich win to nil is an excellent 4.7 at Betfair.
Everton vs Aston Villa
The Toffees were humiliated in their derby on Tuesday night, whilst Villa managed to emerge unscathed from their local skirmish. Everton haven’t looked this shaky at the back since the days of their ‘Help the Aged’ charity work with Gough/Weir patrolling the defence. Which is no time at all to meet Christian Benteke. Villa to win but Gareth Barry to score first. 460 at Betfair and it is the bet of the weekend!
Hull City vs Tottenham Hotspur
In an example of learning nothing from history, Hull City appear to keen to replicate that first season back in the Premier League under Phil Brown. This should be fairly winnable for Spurs – 19/20 with Paddy Power seems fair.
