4 to Watch

An unprecedentedly crowded Chrimbo football programme (at least in the Premier League era) begins this weekend, as teams play four matches in twelve days. The poor lambs. Which can mean only one thing. Rotation.

With that in mind, clubs will certainly be prioritising certain fixtures, allowing the shrewd punter to clean up. Consider the following for example;

Liverpool vs Cardiff

A write-off for the Blue/Red Birds, not so much because they have more winnable matches further down the line, but also because they probably will have no manager at the time of writing. This is the home banker of the weekend, but with the Reds also having bigger fish to fry, we like the under 2.5 at 13/10 with the Magic Sign.

Fulham vs Manchester City

With Fulham heading to fellow relegation crappers Norwich on Thursday, expect them to field a weakened side (yes, even weaker than the usual) against City. City too have a big game on Boxing Day – home to the Luis Suarez XI. So again we like the unders at 27/20 with Laddies.

West Bromwich Albion vs Hull City

West Brom are also without a manager, and with Hull City facing Manchester United on Boxing Day, Brucie’s men will be targeting this one big time. Lay the Boing Boing Baggies at 1.98.

Southampton vs Tottenham Hotspur

Goodness me – if it isn’t yet another club without a manager. No disrespect Tim – you don’t count. Home win – Paddy Power offer 6/4 with Paddy Power.
