Don’t go being one of those people calling Manchester City’s game with Wigan this evening a ‘dress rehersal’ for their Wembley FA Cup Final showdown. Firstly it’s in Manchester and secondly Wigan’s minds will be miles away from their guaranteed European adventure but rather on whether they’ll be playing Doncaster next season. This game is arguably more important.

We’re all used to this by now of course. Wigan play poorly all year, look doomed and then start putting a few results together just before it gets too late. This time last year they improbably won 2-1 at Arsenal. This game however should be a step too far, only Man Utd have won a Premier League game at the Citizens since December 2010. Back City to win after leading at the break at 1.82 on Betfair.
Man Utd travel to West Ham looking to take another step towards the title. Gone are the big victories in recent weeks with seven of their last eight Premier League games featuring three goals or less. West Ham failed to score in two of their three meetings so far this season which also makes us think there may be some value on the under 2.5 market at 5/4 with Bet365.The West London derby sees a Chelsea side with two defeats on the spin (Rubin Kazan and Manchester City) look to end a run of three straight Premier League away defeats when they face Fulham. At odds on we can’t back The Blues given their form especially when you note Fulham have won three of their last four at home in the Premier League. We’ll lay Chelsea on Betfair at 1.79.
