4 to Watch

It has been a notoriously unpredictable league this year (Blackburn winning at old Trafford, Wigan at Arsenal and Man City coming back from the dead to have the title in their own hands) so we’re sad that Sunday is the last chance to hunt for Premier League value until August. But will Gary Neville orgasm again?

First things first – we just can’t recommend a bet on Manchester City to win the league – even at the 1/8 Blue Square will give you – so look elsewhere for a decent bet. Both QPR and City may be nervous and one would expect Rangers to stick a lot of men behind the ball so we like under 3.5 goals at Evens with Bet365.

Should QPR lose, they will be relying on Stoke to avoid defeat at home to Bolton. We are happy however to back the Trotters at 15/8 with Bet365. Owen Coyle’s men have won a third of their away games this season and will take heart from Wigan winning at the Brittania to stay up on the final day of last season. Stoke have won just once in their previous eleven matches so we like  2-1 Bolton at 11.5 on Betfair.

Swansea welcome Liverpool in what should be an entertaining affair. Liverpool were excellent in their 4-1 rout of Chelsea and scored three on both of their recent travels to Blackburn and Norwich. We like over 3.5 goals at a very attractive 2.98 with Betfair.

It has not been easy to predict what sort of performance Newcastle will offer in recent games and with that in mind, we are happy to back Everton at 5/4 with Blue Square. The Toffees are after all on a run of eight league games without defeat.
