4 to Watch

Southampton vs Chelsea

As Conte’s men continue to limp rather lamely over the finish line, many would be of the view that this would be the perfect game for Southampton, and former Chelsea player Mark Hughes. But although Sparky used to be a safe pair of hands at this level, we suspect his hunger left him once he was sacked by City. Linked back then to jobs at Bayern or Manchester United, he is now the poor man’s Tony Pulis. We will opt to back the ambivalent team over the ambivalent manager – surely Conte will want to go out with a couple of wins, and at 5/6 with Ladbrokes, the away win is our bet of the weekend.

Burnley vs Leicester

Sean Dyche has just won Manager of the Month (why is it awarded two weeks into the month anyway), which can only mean one thing. A home defeat to Leicester. Take the 15/8 with the magic sign.

Huddersfield Town vs Watford

And to complete our treble on away victories this weekend, we like the Hornets. Huddersfield managed to clinch their playoff spot early last year, enabling them to rest players for the final weeks of the season. No such luxury in the Premier League, and a long season of pressing and fast football may be catching up with them. 15/8 on an away win with our good friends at Ladbrokes seems long.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City

Ladbrokes will hand you 14/1 on a 0-0. Try and claim a goal in that one Kane!
