4 to watch

Ghana vs Egypt

Ghana, the side we were all apparently swooning for in Africa three years ago, have a tough task ahead of them if they are to get an opportunity to go one step further in 2014, and become the first African country to reach the last four of a World Cup. In their way stand Egypt, now under the shrewd American Bob Bradley (and good luck to him walking the streets of Cairo late at night should they lose). Although there is no Luis Suarez to play netball on the line, the Ghanaians are also missing key men Boateng, Mensah, Boye and Vorsah. For that reason, we fancy a 1-1, available with Betfair at 6.8.

Turkey vs Holland

On the fairly safe assumption that Romania do a job on the Estonians, Turkey have to beat Holland to reach the play-offs. The Oranje showed on Friday night that despite already having booked their berth in Rio, there will be no let-up (hammering Hungary 8-1,) but if it all gets a bit fraught in Istanbul, the Dutch might not fancy it as much. Back Turkey at 2.48 with Betfair.

England vs Poland

Discussed at length in our earlier piece, but for those of you who enjoy urinating all over the national mood, it would be remiss of us not to remind you that the draw is available at 6.8.

Belgium U21 vs Italy U21

No surprise to hear that even the next generation of those cheeky Belgians are smashing all in front of them right now, and that should continue this evening against the Italians at 2.38 on Betfair.
