Roll Up You Neutrals
Whilst Wigan and Millwall have given the FA the embarrassment of having to create a neutral zone in a late attempt to sell tickets (for all those die-hard FA Cup fans), there are no such problems with the giant of a Semi that we’ve been handed for Sunday. Last years Champions, Manchester City take on a Chelsea side that have won four of the last six FA Cups (City winning one of the other two of course.)
Both sides arrive in good form – each having won five of their last six games. City have been resolute at the back too with five clean sheets in their last seven matches, whilst Chelsea themselves have only shipped five goals in their last six. The two league matches between the pair were also cagey affairs, with a tally of just two goals in 180 minutes. Hence we’re expecting a tight affair and we’ll go under 2.5 goals at 1.95 on Betfair.
With Chelsea returning from Rubin Kazan late on Thursday night, we can’t help but think Manchester City will have the edge if this goes to extra-time, so we’ll have a small play on Manchester City to win in extra-time at a general 8/1.
And a note to the Football Association Ticket Sales Department – if supporters of the clubs playing don’t want to come and watch a match, I wouldn’t expect too many others to do so. MOVE IT TO VILLA PARK!!!
