Eurovision 2016 Semi Final No 2

On BBC4, natch
Once the preserve of arty documentaries about fancy foreign guff, the demise of BBC3 (we’ve just noticed too,) has left a big ‘unfancy foreign guff’ shaped hole for the Big Suits at Television Centre to fill. Hence it is with trepidation that we head to Ch116, and having watched the first semi to get with the form (Greece and Iceland the major shock casualties), we cast our eye over the rest of the pack, in what could be our final ever Eurovision!!
Ukraine are hotly fancied to do some damage in the contest once more, and they are rightly favourites to win this semi. And if Russia are trying to drag Ukraine out of Europe, I would like to see their chances with second favourites, Australia.
Our choices would certainly include Belgium to finish in the top 3 at 3.35 on Betfair. The song is due for that last slot, which means those with short memories, or who simply tune in for the points, will be able to see it.
Elsewhere, Westlife fame should be enough to shove the Irish through (2.56), whilst all eyes on Belarus (not often one gets to say that,) as their chap has stated that he intends to perform his song naked surrounded by Wolves. And not of the Steve Bull type either. On the day that John Whittingdale will present his thoughts on the future of public service television, what more greatness could the BBC provide than a Slavic meshugana having his cock menaced by a live wolverine.
