England vs India 3rd Test

Panic on the Streets of London, Panic on the Streets of Birmingham.
So sang the Smiths all those years ago. And whilst there is undoubtedly panic on the streets of London right now, if the Edgbaston wicket proves as lively as we have come to expect, there could be some serious panic on the grass of Birmingham too.
A complete inability to deal with the short ball or Jimmy Anderson’s swing, has resulted in the Indians finding themselves two down with two matches to play. It’s now or never for them – another England win will see them displaced as world number one.
The weather forecast suggests overcast conditions, and if England finally win a toss, early wickets could tumble. Jimmy Anderson took a 4-for here against Pakistan last summer, and an Ashes 5-for at Edgbaston back in 2009, so it may be worth backing another 5-for at some point in the match, available at 1.63 with Betfair.
And if you’re looking for a best batsman bet, try the in-form Ian Bell (whom you can call what you want as long as you don’t call him late for tea.) Bell is on home turf, and having been given another rare opportunity to bat at three in the absence of Jonathan Trott, will be desperate for a big score. He is 4/1 to top-score in the first innings with Bluesq.
We fully expect England to prevail once more. India’s record at Edgbaston isn’t great – they have never won there and have only ever scraped one draw back in 1986.
