Can you believe it’s already day 56 in the Big Brother House? Well, maybe you can or maybe you had forgotten all about it what with the World Cup and the Commonwealth Games.
Ratings have been around 1.6m per show but if you’re only just joining you’ve already missed nine candidates being evicted whilst Kimberley had to leave due to ill health – apparently unrelated to her romping with fellow housemate Steven. Yes, romping. It wouldn’t have happened in our day.
So nine remain with two weeks to go and there’s a clean frontrunner in the betting and it’s 18-year-old Ashleigh, a part time model from Derry who is the 5/4 favourite with PaddyPower. Interestingly she has received the second highest amount of nominations of anyone left in the house (12) where as 20/1 shot with Bet365 Mark has received just two nominations. However her popularity on the outside should see her sail though to at least the final three. She looks nailed on at 1.14 on Betfair to be the top woman.
Christopher was installed as favourite on opening night and is the major challenger to Ashleigh. The 23-year-old Irishman has charmed his away around the house and has the ability in our opinion to win the series. The last three winners have been men and come the final night expect the audience to side with the good-looking Irish lad at 3.8 on Betfair.
