It’s a bit of a random blog this week, but hey, that’s how it goes sometimes. England have finally done it (again) – they’ve won the Ashes in Australia – something they’ve failed to do since 1987, and that’s a very long time ago! There’s now talk of whether England can achieve what might have been thought unthinkable a few years ago and become the number one ranked team in the world (BBC article – Can England become the world’s number one Test team?).
In other news, speculation begins with the announcement that the Beckhams are expecting again – sure to trigger some punts as to whether it’s going to be another boy or will they finally get a girl? If you fancy having a go, take a look at these recommended UK Bookmakers.
Lastly, and somewhat geekily, the makers of Blackberry have released a competitor for the iPad, and it looks amazing (Engadget Playbook Preview). It’s got loads of cool features, including flash – which means unlike the iPad, you’ll actually be able to browse the internet properly :p
