4 to Watch – Premier League Preview (weekend 5/6 May 2012)

Whilst Wembley will be the main course for much of the nation on Saturday, Arsenal will hope to serve up an enjoyable hors-d’oeuvres as they host an out-of-form Norwich side, who have picked up just two wins from their last twelve. Arsenal themselves however have gone three league games without a win for the first time in over three months and need a victory in the hunt for third place. The Gunners have scored just seven goals in their last six games and therefore we don’t think the 9/10 with Bet365 on under 3.5 goals can be overlooked.

Oddly QPR’s recent form reads, L,W,L,W,L,W,L,W,L and whilst that’s not reason enough to suggest a ‘W’ this weekend, we do think the Hoops will give themselves every chance of staying in the Premier League with victory over Stoke. They are 10/11 with Ladbrokes to win the game, and whilst the price is not exceptional, it is worth remembering that Stoke haven’t won in their last eight away games and have very little to play for.

Blackburn have lost six of their last seven and with an angry set of fans on their back, we can’t rule out another pitiful performance. Back in-form Wigan to secure all three points at 2.96 on Betfair.

Aston Villa have repeatedly failed to secure their Premier League status in recent weeks and we don’t think they’ll get the victory they need to finally put that fear to bed when Spurs visit on Sunday. Redknapp’s men finally got their first league away win of 2012 at Bolton, and we expect another this weekend, against the losers, boozers and Jacuzzi users of Villa Park.
