Apart from my own views, the casinos I have picked for my 10 best online casinos list is partly based on player feedback from the casino forums I participate in. While opinions are subjective, the same online casinos crop up for praise again and again and some are equally as notable by the absence of criticism...and trust me there is a lot of that where I moderate! Primarily, aside from being on great software, they also pay out within 24 hours (give or take an hour or two) and have fast support, regular monthly loyalty bonuses and all-round good service.

There's two sides to becoming a top online casino - games fairness and choice is obviously one, but the way the operation is run and how customers are handled is another. It's therefore probably no surprise that my entire Top 10 best online casinos list is made up of independently run casinos rather than the better-known industry brand names and the larger groups of casinos that share a large parent company. Review: *USA Players no longer accepted* This Microgaming "Viper" online casino is my personal favourite and therefore #1 in my 10 best online casinos. Their support and treatment of players is legendary and while the bonuses are not the most generous, the invite-only Club Rouge VIP program rewards players who remain loyal with a variety of extras each month. 32Red casino also process withdrawals back to a credit card (subject to credit card company restrictions in certain jurisdictions), a welcome addition to the other various banking options which includes the new Ecocard prepaid credit card alternative). Review: *USA Players no longer accepted* A long established operator (no longer taking USA players) with a very strong reputation and providing English, Spanish, Italian, Japanese and Cantonese versions of the casino using the popular Cryptologic software. I dabbled here initially, but more recently have started to play regularly, in part because of the $100 monthly match bonus. Another reason its #3 in my 10 best online casinos is that it's on a different software platform to the two above - not so good for slots in my opinion, but better on video poker and roulette. Review: Previously an RTG, Nostalgia online casino has switched to the preferred Microgaming platform with its "auto-play" and "auto-hold" features and increased the amount of games significantly. Nostalgia have always had a very good reputation and what's more they have recently re-introduced instant NETeller withdrawals which is a huuuuge plus point for players who want their winnings back immediately. At the time of this online casino review (more Internet casino reviews), there is a limit on daily transactions of $2,500 on this unique feature, but you can email casino support and ask them to do more there and then. Review: I only started playing here in late 2006, despite their excellent reputation, mainly because I hadn't realised just how good the RTG Real Series slots were now! iNetBet is one of very few RTG operators I trust and are in my Top 10 casinos because of their excellent reputation at Casinomeister for treating players fairly (unlike some other RTG operators!). They offer fast payouts, often processed on the same day and usually within 12 hours of requesting a withdrawal and are very proactive in treating player's issues and requests which I'm a big fan of. Review: Blue Square has recently become a casino I play alot due to the very fast cashouts. It is part of the Gala group and runs the no-download Flash Wagerworks software. Games choice is less than some casinos, but with Wagerworks part-owned by IGT, expect to see some excellent games like the Multi-Strike Elvis slots, Cleopatra, The Price Is Right and Enchanted Unicorn - Vegas favourites. Additional slot games include Monopoly and Cluedo and there is a good selection of classic table games and video pokers. A very good casino operating under the strict guidance of Alderney. Review: A relatively new and different online casino run by the famous Virgin Brand. Running on the highly entertaining Wagerworks casino software (no download Flash), one of the nicer features here is that all the games have their expected payout percentages published in the paytables. It's crap on video poker, but otherwise most games are here. The loyalty points can be converted into Air-miles on Virgin Atlantic too - nice touch as these can build up quite quickly and the monthly reload bonuses are very good and plentiful. Licenced and regulated out of Alderney, the casino does not accept players from the USA. They supposedly have a "reverse period" prior to processing cashouts but when I cashed out to debit card it was instant - excellent! The money hit my (UK) bank account 36 hours later too!. Haven't tried the Neteller cashout option yet, but that could be the same. If you want something different from your online casino (there are a number of games here you would not normally associate with a casino, such as Monopoly and Cluedo slots, as well as the usual games of course), this is definately it! Review: *USA Players no longer accepted* Dash casino is a brand new Microgaming online casino from 32Red PLC featuring the new Instant Bonus system. As many of will be aware, 32Red provide the benchmark for online casinos and Dash is their second casino to enter the fray. Expect top-notch support and over 200 casino games on the Viper software, the usual excellent service that 32Red provide their customers and fast payouts. Review: Club USA currently has no USA player restrictions in place, even in the 11 states where online gambling is illegal. The online casino is part of Club World (which also includes Club UK and Club Euro), an RTG operator that is building up a strong reputation. Unusually for an RTG casino, Club USA attends to smaller requests like manual cashin flushes by way of example plus they do occasional weekend cashouts - an unadvertised ad-hoc service. Email support was pretty prompt and its one of only a few RTG online casinos that I feel comfortable with. RTG online casino games are pretty good and there a huge selection across the board. Review: Ladbrokes was the first online casino I ever played, and I still go back, mainly because they are the only Microgaming casino to have instant cashouts without waiting for that dreaded Reverrse Pending period to expire first! It is primarily a UK online casino and does not accept US residents however there is a Swedish casino ("Svenkst Kasino") download on offer! Excellent bonus terms and great range of games running on the world's favourite Microgaming Viper platform with auto-play and auto-hold options. Ladbrokes relaunched its casino in 2005 to utilisie the superb Microgaming Viper software to full effect. Myriads of games and now able to run in windowed format as opposed to just fullscreen as previously. Ladbrokes has instant withdrawals as part of its proprietary banking system and just a meagre 4x wagering requirement on the sign-up bonus which is the least stringent we've found! No dodgy terms or weird conditions at Ladbrokes: just straight-forward sign up and play - like it should be. Although Ladbrokes accepts bets in Pounds, Euros or Dollars, they doesn't accept players from the USA, Germany, Netherlands, Australia, Hong Kong or France but, otherwise is a top choice for players from the UK & other countries. Review: I don't generally play at Playtech casinos as a rule, but this is the one I make the exception for, in particular because the cashouts are bloody fast! I can cashout on Sunday and have it back in my (UK) Bank account overnight Monday! Can't beat that anwhere - though 32Red are on their heels. "The Tote" is a household name in the UK, primarily known for its on-course betting at British racetracks. There are around 60 casino games games available including all the usual casino favourites and some interesting bonus slots. My particular favourite is "Desert Treasure", a 20 line slot with 10 Free Spins feature where all wins are trebled. There is also "A Night Out" which offers free spins aswell, though personally I prefer the former. Although with limited banking options (credit & debit cards only) and a policy of not accepting players from the USA, the games offer a well rounded choice from table games like roulette, blackjack and bacarrat, through a range of video pokers and array of Vegas style slots. The greatest thing about Tote is the cashouts, which are instant. Although the banking system is a bit confusing (I got an error and had to use the Tote website using my casino account to transfer the funds from casino to sportsbook, then cashout) it is like Ladbrokes in that it gives the player total control - so know hanging around for a "Reverse" period to expire first. Be nice when they add Neteller to the options.
